Whitsunday Pet Resort is owned by husband and wife team, John and Linda. Since purchasing their dream business in May 2013, they have put their heart and soul into the cultivation of the pet resort, transforming it into a first-class, luxury animal dwelling worthy of a five-star pet hotel.
Their business was built upon an ethos of delivering the highest standard of pet hotel care. As such, Whitsunday Pet Resort is always evolving and constantly reinvesting, diverting profit straight back into their pet resort. Never complacent, John and Linda continue to ensure that Whitsunday Pet Resort always remains ahead of the curve, consistent with the reputation of a leading pet resort. Recently, a new and improved exercise yard was completed to the rear of the luxury boarding kennels (early 2014) and the cattery has been renovated to the highest standard.
John and Linda possess extensive experience in the animal handling industry, both in a professional and private capacity, including obedience clubs, conformation showing and dog breeding. They have also worked with government agencies at an elite level, providing training in dog obedience (on and off lead), agility, attack work, tracking, searches and article detection.
As though that were not enough, John and Linda also hold highly valued qualifications and practical experience in dog behavioural psychology and personality profiling. These expertise afford them the keen observational skills and aptitude to understand what the guests in their luxury boarding kennels are really trying to communicate.
Further, they have worked hard to become thoroughly accomplished in the business side of their enterprise; attaining uniquely advanced skills in boarding kennels management, cattery coordination and pet hotel management.
Customers can choose from an array of packages, carefully selected to suit a variety of different needs. The apartments and features in both the boarding kennels and cattery can be calibrated to suit individual preferences.
