Our much beloved dog loved his five week visit at Whitsunday Pet Resort and his tail wagged from the minute we dropped him off to when we picked him up. He instantly loved John & Linda and the love and passion for what they do is evident. This allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing our dog was in safe hands. Not only was he happy and relaxed when we picked him up but due to their commitment was a much more patient dog. We'll definitely be using them again!

Mum tells me she has to "work" so that she can put a roof over my head and feed me. Pft, to the roof, but food is significant. Lucky for me I get to visit Aunty Linda and Uncle John while she "works". Linda is an amazing cook, the biscuits she gives me are delicious and make my hair shiny and vibrant. She must have given mum a lesson, because she now makes the same biscuits for me at home. Linda knows just how to get the right spot when scratching behind my ears too <3 Uncle John gives the best baths, there must be some magic potion he uses, because I always get extra cuddles once the water's dried. I have a little secret, I let mum feel guilty when she goes off to "work", I usually get a treat when we get home. But I actually can't wait till mum has to "work" again, because I get to see Linda, John and all the regular furbabies, and some not so regular. Mum might be on to me, she notices how excited I am when we drive past the big purple sign on our way to the beach. Beach is good, but I just want her to stop at my holiday home.

Bette, ok...it's my Mum (Aimee) - Airlie Beach, Qld

Bette (cross breed about 25kg) starts wagging her tail as we pull up to the car park every visit. Once she's out of the car, I can't hold her back as she runs with excitement to visit her friends (canine and human) at Whitsunday Pet Resort. John and Linda have made Bette feel a part of their family, since taking on the resort back in May 2013. Bette visits on a regular basis, usually 2-3 times a month. I have complete faith in John and Linda, and know that Bette receives the best possible care when visiting the resort. John and Linda have a passion for animals, and I'm not sure how they do it, but every time Bette comes home her behaviour has improved. I highly recommend Whitsunday Pet Resort, and know that many of my friends and colleagues feel the same.

I have been absolutely delighted with the amazing care and service I receive from Linda and John at Whitsunday Pet Resort. I've had my handsome rascal Samson, a poodle x shitzu/maltese, stay with them about half a dozen times since they have taken over the property. He literally pulls me along the path as he can't wait to see them again. They've also given Samson extra care and consideration when they had him not long after being desexed. He developed an infection and they took him straight to the vets so he could be attended to and kept me fully informed every step of the way. He's happy, clean and healthy every time I pick him up and I'm regaled with pictures and numerous stories about his stay. I highly recommend this kennel.

We used to drive 5hrs to Rockhampton to put our two boys in the kennels there, but when John & Linda purchased the local Whitsunday Pet Resort, we decided to give them a try to save the long drive to Rockhampton. Our boys absolutely LOVED it. John and Linda are two VERY experienced dog lovers, and made us feel at complete ease leaving our boys there. Our boys have stayed with them a few times now, and each time I can happily go away on holidays stress free without worrying about my two spoilt pooches! John and Linda are both very down to earth, and you can see the minute you walk in that they are professional, experienced and most importantly passionate about what they do, and the service they offer. My two boys always come home super happy, and they no longer stress the minute they see us pack their stuff and pop them in the car to go to the pet resort! (I honestly think they look forward to their own little holidays now!) I can't thank John & Linda enough for looking after our boys each time- it's wonderful to know they are in great hands!

We leave our beloved Ragdolls, Tosca & Waffles, with Whitsunday Pet Resort every month as we travel a lot for work. Compared to other kennels I've left my furry friends in, this is the best kennel I've seen on a lot of levels. Since the new owners, Linda & John, took it over it doesn't smell anymore, it's always clean, it's had a makeover, they have better food, new cat furniture, better kitty litter and our puddas always come home smelling beautiful. These guys are great and care for our cats like they're their own. They always brush them, tell me stories about their time there when we've been away, they treat them like they're my real human kids and I can tell that our puddas are a lot happier staying there since they took over. Keep up the great work guys, I can't thank you enough! (P.S. Tosca will be doing his window dance for you again soon!)

Whilst traveling to the Whitsundays with our dog Alby we discovered John and Linda's pet resort when searching for a place to look after him as we had to fly back to work for 2 weeks and that is truely what is; a resort. When we picked him up he was sparkling clean and happy to see us of course but also gave Linda a big kiss and cuddle too! His coat looked amazing from having been fed premium food (Advance) through out his stay and Linda was also able to provide us with quality tick prevention products for Alby while we continue our travels. We could not be happier and have already reserved another booking for when we return to work next time.
