Cyclone Kirrily recently declared a Cat 1, is now predicted to cross the coast well N of us in the vicinity of Townsville, late evening Thursday 25/1/24 or early Friday 26/1/24 as a low end Cat 2, instead of Cat 3. After landfall, the accompanying heaviest rain ‘expected’ to mainly track W rather than S. Cleary the preceding is subject to change.
